AKA “New Madrid Seismic Zone” (NMSZ) and “New Madras Fault”
It’s not in Madrid, Spain! It’s smack-dab in the middle of America. I didn’t know anything about this until I saw Shane Warren on TV.
He claims to have had a vision from God where there is a major earthquake in the (possibly near) future that divides the Eastern US from the Western US.
According to Wikipedia, the NMSZ runs through New Madrid, Missouri.
New Madrid Seismic Zone involves 7 states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee. This area is known as the Bible Belt.
Approximately, 200 years ago from December, 1811 – February, 1812 four major earthquakes hit this area. All within a time period of 3 months or to be exact, 54 days. Modern scientists estimate the magnitudes were 8.0 at the highest.
In a report filed in November 2008, The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency warned that a serious earthquake in the New Madrid Seismic Zone could result in “the highest economic losses due to a natural disaster in the United States,” further predicting “widespread and catastrophic” damage across Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and particularly Tennessee, where a 7.7 magnitude quake or greater would cause damage to tens of thousands of structures affecting water distribution, transportation systems, and other vital infrastructure. The earthquake is expected to also result in many thousands of fatalities, with more than 4,000 of the fatalities expected in Memphis alone.
I’ve also read that people have been experiencing dreams for years concerning a major earthquake in middle America. Remember those outrageous earthquakes in Haiti and Japan?
Are you and I in for this?
