No Questions No Answers

40+196 Hssssss Many people look at me with hatred when I ask questions about various topics.  Those hateful looks are underserved, most of the time.  I don’t typically pry into people’s personal lives, in fact, I’m largely not interested in others.  It’s simply that I’m inquisitive about many subjects, especially history, art and science.

When discussing things with people, I think out loud (AKA “talking to myself”) and ask questions.  “What would have caused so-in-so to do that?  What was the purpose of using rigid material to build those?  How can I get rid of those weeds without killing all the animals in this zip code?  Questions like that often elicit hateful looks.

My question is, what is it that they hate so much?

Could it be because the average person is a shallow puddle of water and they don’t like watching someone else dig deep for answers?

Could it be because these hateful people don’t really want answers?  Or is it something else?

The answer likely varies by individuals.  However, I have learned this absolute truth.  If we don’t ask questions we won’t get answers.

Jesus told us to ask.

New Madrid Fault

English: This map of the New Madrid and Wabash...

This map of the New Madrid and Wabash Valley seismic zones shows earthquakes as circles. Red circles indicate earthquakes that occurred from 1974 to 2002 with magnitudes larger than 2.5 located using modern instruments (University of Memphis). Green circles denote earthquakes that occurred prior to 1974 (USGS Professional Paper 1527). Larger earthquakes are represented by larger circles. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

AKA “New Madrid Seismic Zone” (NMSZ) and “New Madras Fault”

It’s not in Madrid, Spain!  It’s smack-dab in the middle of America.  I didn’t know anything about this until I saw Shane Warren on TV.

Watch…It’s Supernatural!…here.

He claims to have had a vision from God where there is a major earthquake in the (possibly near) future that divides the Eastern US from the Western US.

According to Wikipedia, the NMSZ runs through New Madrid, Missouri.

New Madrid Seismic Zone involves 7 states:  Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.  This area is known as the Bible Belt.

Approximately, 200 years ago from December, 1811 – February, 1812 four major earthquakes hit this area.  All within a time period of 3 months or to be exact, 54 days.  Modern scientists estimate the magnitudes were 8.0 at the highest.

In a report filed in November 2008, The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency warned that a serious earthquake in the New Madrid Seismic Zone could result in “the highest economic losses due to a natural disaster in the United States,” further predicting “widespread and catastrophic” damage across Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and particularly Tennessee, where a 7.7 magnitude quake or greater would cause damage to tens of thousands of structures affecting water distribution, transportation systems, and other vital infrastructure.[23] The earthquake is expected to also result in many thousands of fatalities, with more than 4,000 of the fatalities expected in Memphis alone.

I’ve also read that people have been experiencing dreams for years concerning a major earthquake in middle America.  Remember those outrageous earthquakes in Haiti and Japan?

Are you and I in for this?

Most Evil

Matthew 12:31 So I say to you, Every sin and every evil word against God will have forgiveness; but for evil words against the Spirit there will be no forgiveness.

Q: What does this really mean?

I’ve heard different interpretations but the only thing that makes sense was something a Jewish man said on TV or radio.  He said that the original Hebrew uses the phrase “carry evil in the lord’s name”.  To carry evil meant to purposefully do evil therefore, Jesus is saying, anyone who purposefully does evil in the name of the Lord will not be forgiven.

An example being the Spanish Inquisition – the religious people did evil in the name of Jesus so those people are not forgiven???

Is this true?

333 Hits Today

At the time of this posting Ask God Anything has 333 hits.

Q: What does that mean if anything?

I went to Net.Bible.org  and typed in 333 to search under Bible and these 2 scriptures came up.

Nehemiah 4:1 When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall he exploded in anger, vilifying the Jews.

Daniel 4:3 How great are his signs! And how full of power are his wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom and his rule goes on from generation to generation.

Sanballat, in Nehemiah, was an enemy of God and the Jews.

Daniel 4:3 uses the words of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon after God brought Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego out of the fiery furnace alive and unburned.

Sanballat was about to see the Jews rebuild the temple and was against God from beginning to end.

King Nebuchadnezzar witnessed a major miracle when the three Jewish men refused to bow down and worship him as god. He was an enemy in the beginning then a believer at the end of the story.

Sanballat hated the Jews and God while Nebuchadnezzar declared that the god of the Jews was God.

What does this mean?

Total of 333 hits by today’s date, 7/2/12? A Bible search with 333 results in 2 scriptures? About two different people? Both scriptures are Old Testament.  Daniel 4:3 How great are his signs Both scriptures have two four’s and only one three? Does adding 4+1=5; 4+3=8; 4+1+4+3=12; and the date 7+2+2012=2021; or 7+2+12=21 mean anything? Is God saying something in any of this? Is there a message?

As of now, all I can think of are the 3 bills that I don’t yet have the money to pay for the month of June; mortgage, credit card and vehicle registration.  It bothers me that I’m late on paying them but I’m asking for God’s help.

Weddings and Money

Q:  Why do we spend big money on weddings?

My friend’s daughter is engaged so they’re planning the wedding and everyone is STRESSED!  My friend doesn’t have much money to spend on the wedding but wants to give her a scaled down wedding package.  The basics; a wedding dress under $600, cake for around $200, small rehearsal dinner and so on.  Even the small package is too much for her.

There’s nothing wrong with a nice wedding.  It’s a special occasion and one of huge importance.  It’s this desire to have what we can’t afford that is a problem.  I see my friend who’s already stressed out from constant money problems and now there’s a wedding to pay for on top.  I just learned that there’s such a thing as wedding insurance!  I can’t help but think why do we have expensive weddings that put us in stress hell and financial jail?

My great great grandparents were poor immigrant farmers who came to this country after the Civil War.  They got married by a Justice of the Peace, wore what ever clothes they had, did not have a ring, no cake, no champagne, no rehearsal dinner, no honeymoon and….. they stayed married!

Although, they’re grand children got divorced.

Rot in Hell

Q: Why are so many Christians hateful toward Atheists?

Quotes are taken from  Shy David’s Jesusphile Page.  They are wickedly funny and filled with hateful remarks from “Christians”.  Gives insight into how some (perhaps many) Christians view Atheists.

“Atheists. I hope they rot in Hell. Hey they don’t worry about it!”

“Fuck you Atheist! When I find out where you live, I’ll drive a pitchfork through that empty head of yours, you arrogant pig!”

“When you die, you’re going to Hell, and are going to permanently suffer down there. And I’ll be laughing at all the Atheist bastards in this echo, when I’m up in heaven.”

“You and all the other atheists in this echo are sloth pigs, who don’t give a damn about life, and are going nowhere in it.”

Q: What did Jesus say in Luke 6:28?  Cuss out those who cuss you?

A:  No, “BLESS those who curse you, PRAY for those who abuse you

“Atheist. I’m going to love waving to you when you go to hell, and I’m in heaven. And when you go to hell, I’ll get the last laugh!”

“You are nothing but a stupid atheist pig, with the IQ of a democrat.”

“Just a bunch of crazy Atheist…(who will all burn in Hell)…”

“Just by a group being an atheist group, generally means it is a hate group.”

If the Atheists are the hate group what are these Christians?

A:  1 Corinthians 13:1 If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

These folks make a lot of noise!

1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious.  Love does not brag, it is not puffed up. 13:5 It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful. 13:6 It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth. 13:7  It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

I know that these “Christians” who said such things are not a few but the many.

Q:  If Christians approached Atheists with THE LOVE spoken of in 1 Corinthians 13:1 would Atheists believe in Jesus?

Whitney Houston’s Voice

Drugged Whitney?

Q:  Did Whitney Houston subconsciously abuse her voice to get away from Clive Davis?

First thing that popped into my head this morning was this thought.  I don’t know why!  I haven’t listened to her music or read anything about her lately.  Never-the-less, that question stays with me.

Many singers of all caliber abuse their voices.  The typical method is smoking, alcohol, screaming and over singing.  Whitney abused drugs, alcohol and had many other damaging behaviors.  Most singers who abuse their voices don’t know they’re abusing their money makers.  However, Whitney wasn’t the average singer.

Whitney Houston was an extraordinary vocalist from a famous singing family.  She must have know about vocal abuse and how to care for her voice.  As we know, she had some hard-core problems.  Watch the interview with  Diane Sawyer where she alludes to Clive Davis being her SVENGALI   (one who completely dominates another with sinister motives).  Consequently, their business connection ended when she did this interview.

Did Whitney subconsciously commit self sabotage to get away from Clive Davis and the entertainment industry?  He discovered her when she was young, easily influenced and she “did his bidding” for many of her growing up years.  From the same interview with Diane Sawyer, Whitney said, “I love to sing.”  “But it’s just not fun anymore.”  Why?  “Because of the money”.  Yet, was it more than money?

No one wants to be used or controlled by someone sinister.   The parasite, Clive Davis wouldn’t have given Whitney the lint in his pocket if she was not a talented singer and she knew it.  This brings the question, did Whitney subconsciously sabotage her own voice to get away from Clive’s dominance over her life?

This is likely an unanserable question.  However, there is a stranger question for me.  Why did I have this thought upon first waking today?  Does it have more to do with my life?  Is there a Svengali in my life?  Whenever God gives me the answer I will tell you.  Also, I appreciate any ideas that you may have.
