Israel Needs More Land

Found this on Soda Head (Love that name!) under the article, “America’s anti Israel stance linked to natural disasters!” Posted 9/25/09.

My question is, why do many Americans feel sorry for the Muslims and expect Israel to give them land?

TmrWrite is a Muslim who is pro-Israel.  His comment:

“Your Westerners are gullible…no wonder 9/11 was pulled off with ease!!!  Islam owns 7 million kilometers of land…Yisrael owns 10 thousand kilometers and not ONE of you stops to ask…WHY ARE THE MUSLIMS ASKING FOR MORE LAND?  Why didn’t all the empty territory of Saudi Arabia not absorb their own refugees.  Yet Yisrael has given many of us free homes, food, etc.  Until your “Un-united Nations” told Yisrael to STOP HELPING US.  Why…our  Arabis leaders wanted Yisrael to look bad..at our expense!!! Then they come and order our mothers to petition for us to be Shahids…suicide bombers.  Yes our families get money after we young men die…but if we refuse they threaten to kill our mothers and sibings!!!  And these who terrorize they own people are pittied in America!!”

Muslims have the vast majority of the land over there and they’re not running out of land.  Plenty of it’s ready for building permits!

A: Because we Americans are so gullible and easily led by the media machine!  Haven’t you ever noticed how the news shows say almost the same things and repeat it countless times?  That’s not an accident, it’s manipulation!

Islam must give land to Israel for peace!!!

Then There’s Max

Several years ago, I saw and heard Max Lucado speak.  I had never heard of him before but I went with some people who read his books and heard him talk.  After hearing him I have no regrets and I’ll jump at the next opportunity.

Max Lucado wasn’t preachy or showy nor did he make himself the center of attention.  The building where I saw him was big but not a ginormous professional basketball stadium.  If there were cameras I never saw them, he did not take center stage but actually stood off to the left most of the time.  The experience was not a noise extravaganza with people cheering and screaming, not that there’s anything wrong with that, it was a simple and comfortable environment.  No razzle dazzle.

Lucado didn’t come across as one who was putting on an act but one who was genuine and genuinely talked about Jesus.  He’s a positive preacher but not a “prosperity preacher”.  I don’t remember the theme of his speech but he had me in tears and ice water runs through my veins.   What he said was substantial, I left there completely full not empty as is usually the case with preachers.

Since then, I’ve read a few of Lucado’s books and I’ll read anything he writes and watch any of his broadcasts, which are few.  Afterward, I always feel moved by his message and he doesn’t have to scream or use the word “money” constantly.

Check out his website MaxLucado.com, I highly recommend his message.
